ScienceSoft Testing Teams are self-managed and work in coordination with each other and a development team. One Testing Team is assigned per application module or submodule, depending on the module’s tech and functions’ complexity.
With regard to the solution’s architectural complexity and current project needs, you can choose:
- Testing Teams’ number: from 1 to 10 teams - up to 60 testing professionals at a time.
- Testing Teams’ composition: from 1+2 to 1+5 (a test lead + test engineers).
ScienceSoft Testing Teams are organized in the following way:
Test Lead: develops a test strategy and plan for the corresponding solution’s sub/module; prepares test execution reports and a test summary report; liaise the testing team's collaboration with the development team; resolves testing issues; measures and improves test engineers’ performance; performs exploratory testing.
Test Engineers: develop and execute test cases; diligently report and describe the found defects; perform re-testing and regression testing.

ScienceSoft Testing Teams provide regular test execution reports (on a build, daily, weekly basis or any required schedule), submit defects into a defects’ tracking system providing detailed defects’ descriptions. Collaboration with an in-house QA and dev teams
Our Testing Teams are self-managed, still, if there’s an in-house QA team, overall QA management can remain on your side. The in-house QA manager will split responsibilities between in-house test engineers and ScienceSoft Testing Teams. ScienceSoft Team Leads will provide regular test execution reports to the QA manager.
Our test engineers will communicate with the in-house development team to ensure relevant test cases’ prioritization for risk-based testing, effective defects’ management, re-testing and regression testing.
We promote Integrated Manual and Automated Testing (IMAAT) approach to optimize testing time. Our automated testing team leads analyze automation feasibility and calculate its ROI for your testing project.
