The Customer is a multinational pharmaceutical company with manufacturing and research facilities located in Europe, USA, Canada, and Australia. For over 75 years, the company has been providing innovative medical products and services that assist with the treatment of complex medical conditions to hospitals and other healthcare organizations.

Challenge

The Customer was developing a highly reliable centralized solution to manage their multifaceted business activities, including cancer medicine production, inventory control, client’s information and transactions management. The Customer was looking for an expert testing services provider to reduce time on regression testing of the solution under development, but still deliver high-quality software.

Solution

ScienceSoft assembled an automated testing team that undertook the task to speed up regression testing of the application and enhance its quality in 3 months. The testing team analyzed the solution under development to select the most important test scenarios for automation and wrote robust automated test scripts. ScienceSoft’s team created a reliable, scalable and flexible test automation framework that allowed installing/uninstalling software builds, executing test scripts, and sending test results to the repository of result reports.

Results

The use of automated testing by ScienceSoft’s team allowed the Customer to reduce resources and time for regression testing and, as a result, deliver a high-quality solution on time.
