Before starting her career in IT, Gala studied the medical industry from within. A Doctor of Medicine, she worked as an endocrinologist for 5 years to obtain hands-on experience in managing patients with diabetes and other endocrine disorders.

Having medical and scientific expertise in therapeutic areas, Gala joined the pharmaceutical industry and worked for 15+ years with companies like Pfizer, Dr.Reddy's, and Roche. Gala was responsible for the pharmaceutical marketing strategy, brand planning, and compliant medical communication.

After joining ScienceSoft as a Healthcare IT Consultant, Gala applied her expertise in the healthcare business and strategic thinking to analyze customer needs and elicit detailed requirements for optimal healthcare IT solutions.
