Senior Project Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Project Manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of proven experience in project management within the IT industry, particularly in outsourcing projects. With a strong track record of successfully delivering complex IT projects on time and within budget, the Senior Project Manager will play a pivotal role in managing client engagements, coordinating with cross-functional distributed teams, and ensuring exceptional service delivery. Your responsibilities

Lead the planning, execution, and closing of multiple IT outsourcing projects while ensuring adherence to budget, schedule, and quality standards.
Collaborate closely with clients to understand their requirements, define project scope, and develop tailored solutions to meet their needs.
Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation, considering the unique requirements of each outsourcing engagement.
Manage project budgets, forecasts, and financial reporting, ensuring transparency and accountability in all financial matters.
Identify and mitigate project risks specific to IT outsourcing, such as vendor management challenges and cybersecurity concerns, and develop proactive strategies to address them.
Foster effective communication and collaboration among project team members, both internal and external, ensuring alignment with project goals and objectives.
Monitor project progress and performance, proactively identifying issues and implementing corrective actions to keep projects on track.
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing regular updates on project status, addressing concerns, and managing expectations.
Conduct post-project evaluations to assess client satisfaction, identify areas for improvement, and drive continuous enhancement of our outsourcing services.
Stay current with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in IT outsourcing and project management, sharing knowledge and insights with the team.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, business administration, or related field.
5+ years of experience in project management within the IT industry, with a focus on outsourcing projects.
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent is required.

Experience with Agile methodologies and frameworks such as Scrum or Kanban, particularly in the context of IT outsourcing.
Certifications such as Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) or Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP) are highly desirable.
Proficiency in project management software and tools commonly used in IT outsourcing projects, such as Microsoft Project, JIRA.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire both internal teams and external stakeholders.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with clients, vendors, and team members at all levels.
Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities, particularly in the context of complex IT outsourcing engagements.
Experience working in a fast-paced, client-focused environment with a strong customer service orientation.
Ability to travel as needed to client locations or other company offices.

Preferred Qualifications

Master's degree in business administration, information technology, or related field.
Additional certifications in project management, IT outsourcing, or related areas.
Experience managing IT outsourcing projects across diverse industries and geographies.
Demonstrated success in building and maintaining long-term client relationships in the IT outsourcing space.
