Award-Winning Mobile Game with Multitouch Controls

Novocortex is a Dutch marketing agency that works internationally since 2005. The Company specializes in digital marketing campaigns and Internet Strategy Audits in Europe.

Challenge

Novocortex decided to widen its iPhone game collection with a new one. It turned to ScienceSoft to develop a game which aim was to catch runaway blondes and protect them from enemies. The game had to support multi-touch technology to improve user experience.

Solution

ScienceSoft’s iOS developers analyzed functional specification and created a game that met all the requirements. The game is based on two main characters: blondes and apes. The main objective of the app is to keep in the nest as many blondes as possible while they are trying to escape. To make the game even more captivating, developers added enemy characters from which blondes should be protected. As requested, the game supports a multi-touch technology, which allows players to use two fingers to complete diverse missions.

Results

The game was developed in accordance with the Customer’s requirements as well as within planned deadline and budget.

Big Apes Love Blondes was published on the AppStore and became popular with players of all ages. The game not only caught users’ fancy, but also received Silver in the Mobile Games category at the W3 Awards in the USA.
