ScienceSoft Contributes to a Charitable Initiative to Support People with Mobility Impairments

“Now I know that her future is bright!” – With these words, a new chapter starts in the life of Murni and her daughter Revi, who has been struggling with spina bifida her whole life. The family lives in Indonesia and, for years, Revi has been isolated from society due to her impaired mobility. A life-changing day came when Revi got an appropriately fitted wheelchair from UCP Wheels for Humanity, a volunteer-based organization that helps to increase the mobility of people with physical disabilities in less-resourced countries.

ScienceSoft is proud to be a part of this great mission. With our donation, we hope that more stories like Murni and Revi’s will have a good ending, or better say, a bright new start.

Any contribution, small or large, paves the way to a better world where all people have equal opportunities for education, work and social engagement. A donation to UCP Wheels for Humanity can be a small step for those who give and a huge gift to those in need:

  • $25 means 2 comfort cushions for a wheelchair user.
  • $100 provides a wheelchair modification kit.
  • $250 buys a wheelchair.
  • $5,000 allows training 5 physical therapists in a developing country.

If you want to join UCP Wheels for Humanity in their mission, visit the donation page for details.
