After getting her first Master’s Degree in Surveying Engineering in 1991, Lily worked as Graphic Designer for an IT department of an industrial enterprise. Gradually, the technological aspect of her job was getting more demanding and challenging, which motivated Lily to learn more about the IT sphere. As a result, this interest inspired her to get her second Master’s degree – this time in CSS and HTML Programming.
From 2000, Lily worked for several mid-sized IT companies as Web Designer, Senior Web Designer, and Art Director, steadily building up extensive hands-on experience in various types of digital design. In 2012, Lily joined ScienceSoft’s UI design team as Lead Designer and has been in charge of the company’s Web and Mobile Design department ever since.
All ScienceSoft’s major UI design projects – such as the award-winning mobile banking app and a complex iPad app for inpatients – owe it to Lily’s solid management. She promotes a consulting approach in her department and believes that the design should be based on deep understanding of users’ needs.
Lily uses her expert design skills to grow the team’s competence in a vast array of design tools, including a rich Adobe package, Sketch, InVision, and Zeplin, and shares her design experience with the readers of our blog.
