During her career at ScienceSoft, Marina has contributed to multiple large-scale projects, including the development of an automated healthcare data analytics platform, BI consulting for a diversified company with 30+ businesses, and consulting for an outsourcing company with 1,000+ employees.

Marina’s current focus is on healthcare IT and the practical application of AI and data analytics to clinical and administrative workflows. She pays particular attention to accuracy, traceability, and risk control — essential considerations in regulated environments. Her research interests include preventing LLM hallucinations and improving the reliability of AI-generated outputs, including in SBAR-based clinical communication scenarios.

Marina also explores opportunities to improve healthcare revenue cycle management through automation, data analytics, and AI. Drawing on her background in business analysis and BI consulting, she focuses on identifying workflow bottlenecks, reducing manual work and billing errors, and defining requirements for solutions that help providers minimize claim denials and gain better visibility into revenue cycle performance.

A co-author of over 40 scientific publications, Marina also shares her expertise on ScienceSoft’s blog.

As Nathan Rothschild said, he who owns the information owns the world. 200 years on, and I must admit it’s still the foundation of my business analysis practice. I find that it is especially true in healthcare, where accurate, timely, and well-structured information can directly support better decisions and better care.
