The Need to Accelerate Time-to-Market
The Customer wanted to build an AWS-based credit platform and a user-facing iOS app for middle-income consumers across the underserved emerging markets in MENA. Due to the project scale and complexity, the Customer needed additional IT talents to cover parts of back-end development, mobile development, and DevOps operations to speed up the app’s launch. iOS app code audit, performance testing, and development
ScienceSoft’s Flutter and Dart developers audited the credit app’s code and fixed the detected UI and app logic bugs to ensure smooth user journeys. In addition, the team tested the application using Firebase Crashlytics to quickly detect and resolve its stability issues. ScienceSoft’s talents also took part in implementing the functionality for borrower self-registration, identity verification, and automated generation of loan applications.
Credit platform integration with an activity monitoring system
ScienceSoft’s Golang developers helped integrate the lending platform with Datadog to enable activity logging, monitoring, and tracing according to the Customer’s requirements. For the Customer, it means getting full insight into the platform users’ actions and timely detecting malicious manipulations.
Migration to the new AWS region and development automation
Working closely with the Customer’s team, ScienceSoft’s DevOps engineers performed the credit platform’s migration to another AWS region. The team set up CI/CD pipelines to facilitate app releases in the new region, deployed AWS Lambda functions in Kubernetes to streamline container configuration, created and implemented Helm charts for facilitated management of a containerized app. In the new AWS cloud, the team incorporated the infrastructure-as-code approach to automate cybersecurity and the provisioning of infrastructure resources.
