Vital joined ScienceSoft’s technology consulting team in 2021. Vital’s previous experience as a business co-founder and manager enables him to understand the pains and needs of commercial organizations from both IT and business perspectives. ScienceSoft’s clients value Vital for his thinking out-of-the box, curiosity, and open communication.

As an Insurance IT Consultant, Vital brings his vast background in digital business development to help insurance firms plan and smoothly implement digital transformation initiatives. Vital has participated in some of ScienceSoft’s largest software engineering projects for the insurance industry. One of them involved modernizing an enterprise-grade underwriting platform for one of the EU’s oldest property and specialty insurance brokers. Other prominent solutions delivered with Vital’s involvement include a commercial property insurance system for Ireland’s leading wholesale insurance provider, Capital IM, and custom insurance accounting software for an MGA with 70+ years in business.

As an AI Consultant, Vital helps companies from diverse industries apply artificial intelligence (AI) technology in a secure and predictable way while ensuring the AI software’s measurable business value. With experience in AI implementation for regulated sectors like insurance and investment, Vital ensures that AI solutions are designed to be compliant, auditable, and explainable in real-world scenarios from the get-go.

Vital also leads ScienceSoft’s AI research and development (R&D) direction and internal AI innovation across development processes, document management, client communication, and other areas. He manages educational programs for ScienceSoft’s teams to strengthen AI expertise and support the company’s goal of becoming an AI leader, with a focus on BFSI and healthcare.

Vital holds the PMI Professional in Business Analysis (PMI-PBA) and ITIL4 certifications. A certified Professional Scrum Product Owner (PSPO), Vital can take over the roles of the project manager, Scrum master, and product owner to support insurance software development projects when the need arises.
