Mary embarked on her IT career in 2015 as a Business Analyst and Project Manager. Having previously worked as a lawyer, she had already mastered what is at the core of top-level business analysis – effective communication, attention to detail, and objective, value-oriented advice. This granted Mary a sure start and rapid career advancements.
In 2016, Mary joined ScienceSoft as a Mid-Level Business Analyst and quickly moved up to the position of Lead Business Analyst. Mary’s meticulous approach to requirement gathering secured ScienceSoft’s success in driving software projects to their goals and agilely adopting feasible changes. Throughout her career, Mary has developed profound expertise in the banking IT domain. The apps delivered with Mary’s assistance received widespread recognition and became leaders in their markets. Among Mary’s prominent development projects are web and mobile banking solutions for a bank with 3M+ customers, secure mobile banking apps for a private bank with $2B+ in assets, and award-winning mobile banking apps that top the lists of best m-banking solutions for iOS and Android.
Owing to Mary’s exceptional leadership skills and tireless dedication to the success of the mobile development and business intelligence projects she was involved in, Mary was promoted to Head of Business Analysis in 2024. In this role, she organizes a team of 40+ business analysts and consultants and challenges each team player with the tasks that suit their talents as well as background knowledge and skills the most. At the same time, she encourages self-education and motivates the team to upgrade their competencies continually.
The Business Analyst role requires close cooperation with ScienceSoft’s development team. Mary ensures that the two teams agree on how they can power diverse business processes with technology and guarantee an appropriate return on investment for delivered solutions.
Mary successfully balances her management, business analysis, and consulting responsibilities. She continues to work on scoping and documentation for complex BFSI initiatives, as well as guides and supports BA team members in their custom software development projects. As a Banking IT Consultant, Mary helps ScienceSoft’s banking clients increase operational efficiency, improve customer loyalty, and address sectoral security and compliance requirements by implementing one-of-a-kind banking IT solutions and advanced financial technologies. She is an active member of the Banking IT community, participating in domain conferences, educational seminars, and discussions.
