Mary started her IT career in 2015 as Project Manager and Business Analyst. Embarking on her BA career journey after working as a lawyer, she already had proficiency in what is at the heart of the top-level business analysis – effective communication, ability to dive deep into details and elicit comprehensive requirements. This granted Mary’s sure start and rapid career advancements.
In 2016, she joined ScienceSoft as Mid-Level Business Analyst and quickly moved up to the position of Senior Business Analyst. The apps delivered with her assistance consistently became leaders in their markets, received widespread recognition and got the highest ratings in the App Store. Thus, ScienceSoft is particularly proud of Mary’s work for the online and mobile banking solutions for an Asian bank with 3+ million customers and a mobile banking app for Azerbaijan’s major private bank. Also, among recognized Mary’s projects, there was the development of the award-winning mobile banking app that led the lists of best Android Mobile Apps, Best Mobile Banking for iOS and Best Mobile Banking for Android.
Following the success of the application development projects she was involved in, Mary has been promoted to the position of Lead Business Analyst. Now, she leads ScienceSoft’s Business Analysis team of 5 (including Senior, Mid-Level and Junior) BAs in the field of Business Intelligence and mobile software development. Mary professionally balances BA and management responsibilities. She continues to work on requirements elicitation, analysis and documentation for complex and multi-faceted projects, as well as guides and supports her team members in their projects.
Mary has developed particularly deep expertise in the banking domain. As Banking IT Consultant, Mary helps ScienceSoft’s banking clients increase efficiency in their workflows, integrate new channels for communication with their customers, and improve customer engagement and loyalty by harnessing the latest techs and developing and implementing top banking IT solutions. Mary employs hands-on experience in banking software development projects and continuously monitors tech trends, needs and challenges in digital banking. What is more, she holds the status of an active member of the Banking IT community, participating in related conferences, educational seminars and discussions.
A challenge of digital initiatives for the banking industry is to mind complex US regulations in the field and to design a convenient solution of the highest confidentiality and integrity.
