Dimitry Viazmin (ديميتري فيازمن)

Dimitry Viazmin is a Regional IT consultant with GCC expertise.

Dimitry started in IT in 2002 in QA. In 2011, Dimitry changed the direction of his IT career and continued as a Business Analyst and Project Manager inspired by the challenge of solving complex business problems through digital changes. In these roles at ScienceSoft, Dimitry worked on the projects like development, testing and support of BI-enabled ERP for a multi-industry corporation; development of business management and data analytics software for hairdressing and wellness salons, and other prominent projects.

Following the success of multiple projects, Dimitry was appointed to lead ScienceSoft’s Business Analysis practice. From 2013 to 2020, he was responsible for the creation and development of best BA practices within the company to effectively redesign and automate the traditional business models and workflows of ScienceSoft’s clients on their journeys to advanced digital transformation.

Dimitry grew ScienceSoft's Business Analysis department to 26 professionals and significantly advanced its scale, diversity, and overall maturity. The department started operating as a fully structured unit and covered a wide range of domains, including CRM, ecommerce, healthcare applications, mobile apps, custom software solutions, BI systems, and web portals. He also contributed to expanding our capabilities in business consulting and UX design, which allowed ScienceSoft to deliver more well-rounded solutions and stand out in a highly competitive market. Under Dimitry's guidance, the BA team delivered more than 250 projects for customers in healthcare, insurance, investment, banking, oil and gas, manufacturing, retail, professional services, telecommunications, logistics and other industries and sectors.

In February 2020, after demonstrating strong strategic and operational leadership, Dimitry took on a new initiative within ScienceSoft and was appointed Vice President of Gulf Operations. For over 5 years, he was responsible for the company’s strategy and operations in the Gulf region, strengthening its presence in the market and overseeing the delivery of IT consulting and services across Gulf countries.

The Gulf countries are on the verge of rapid digital transformation, ready to modify into the center of advanced services and technologies, and I’m happy to be a part of it.
