Sergey has over 20 years of experience in IT, with deep expertise in .NET, Azure, Microsoft 365, and SharePoint shaped by more than a decade of hands-on development and leadership. Since joining ScienceSoft as a SharePoint Team Lead in 2013, he has advanced to Head of SharePoint Development and senior architecture roles, earning recognition not just for his engineering expertise but for his ability to turn fragmented ideas into scalable enterprise systems.
In 2025, Sergey took on a role of Principal Architect. Sergey contributes to our Architecture and Solutions CoE’s technology strategy — establishing best architecture practices, promoting reusable patterns, and adopting new tools and frameworks that could benefit future projects. He also acts as a hands-on advisor to development teams: reviewing architectural artifacts, providing targeted guidance, and stepping in with prototypes or technical proof points when challenges arise. Sergey applies a rigorous yet flexible design methodology to balance performance, cost-effectiveness, and maintainability — always with a sharp eye on business value.
While his current responsibilities span a wide range of solutions and technologies, Sergey still remains ScienceSoft’s go-to expert in productivity solutions and enterprise collaboration — topics where his experience runs deep and his passion remains strong. He not only brings this expertise into client engagements, but also shares lessons learned, practical frameworks, and market observations through blog articles and knowledge-sharing initiatives, continuing to shape better digital work environments for businesses worldwide.
Everything is possible. You just have to find a proper solution.
