Sergey Golubenko

Sergey joined ScienceSoft as SharePoint Team Lead 6 years ago. Now he has an overall work experience in IT of more than 20 years and more than 11 years in SharePoint development. In January 2019, Sergey was appointed Head of SharePoint Department. Currently, he combines this function with being Senior Solution Architect and SharePoint and Office 365 Consultant.

Sergey manages projects on implementing diverse SharePoint and Office 365 solutions for small, midsize and large businesses from such industries as healthcare, banking, retail, manufacturing, telecoms and more. One of his biggest projects at ScienceSoft was the development of a custom portal for a retail industry leader. The portal provided an automated order workflow that streamlined creating and processing orders for shopping center administration, tenants and contractors of 14 shopping malls. All in all, this portal covered the needs of around 3,000 users.

Sergey constantly works on improving team collaboration and internal processes like QA in the SharePoint department. These initiatives have already allowed ScienceSoft to win 10+ SharePoint RFPs in 2019.

Sergey keeps up with the latest SharePoint and Office 365 trends and does research on these platforms and related topics. He turns most valuable insights into articles published on ScienceSoft’s SharePoint blog and external resources. In his articles, Sergey focuses on enterprise collaboration and digital workplaces. He covers such SharePoint solutions as intranets and portals, document and contract management systems, learning and knowledge management systems, ticketing and help desk systems. Particularly, he analyzes how these solutions can help companies to solve business challenges and shares best practices of making the most of the SharePoint platform.
