Alex Grizhnevich

With PhD in automation and management of industrial installations, Alex started his IT career in 2002 as a C/C++ developer. He gained vast experience in database development and software development for hardware systems.

Alex took a career turn and joined ScienceSoft in 2017 as Business Analyst, taking over the IoT development direction. Alex quickly proved himself as a professional with swift analytical skills and technical know-how, which resulted in his promotion to the position of IoT consultant and Lead Business Analyst.

Today, Alex provides consulting to ScienceSoft’s customers on the means of automating their operations and improving business performance with IoT and helps them realize their digital transformation initiatives. He also manages a team of six business analysts, making sure the unit shares the company’s strategic vision.

Alex shares the expertise accumulated during years in the IoT domain by participating in corporate and external IoT events as a speaker and contributing to ScienceSoft’s IoT blog. For example, Alex has covered how IoT enables predictive maintenance of industrial equipment.

The key to the success of IoT projects is an integrative approach to solving the customer’s problem, relying on the best practices accumulated in the IoT sector.
