Country Natural Beef on Working With ScienceSoft

Country Natural Beef is a cooperative of about 100 family ranchers across nine states, managing 6.5 million acres of land. At this scale, there’s a lot of information that needs to get to individual members, and not always the same information to everyone. We asked ScienceSoft to build a portal where our ranchers could access their own payment and harvest data without having to call or email someone in the office.

ScienceSoft built the member portal for us and connected it with the systems where that data is already stored. From our side, the project was easy to follow. The team was open about progress and took responsibility for the work. When we had feedback or something needed to change, they addressed it quickly and kept the work moving. It was a relief to be able to focus on what the portal needed to do for our collective while ScienceSoft handled the technical side.

The portal now gives our members a much easier way to get the information they need, and it has taken a significant share of routine work off our staff as well. We’ve continued working with ScienceSoft on support and are discussing what we may add next.
