Senior OpenSource Engineer (L3)

We are looking for a skilled engineer to join our infrastructure team as a Senior OpenSource Engineer (L3). The work will involve providing support and maintaining complex systems built on open-source technologies.

Project Description:

The project focuses on providing continuous IT support and infrastructure maintenance for a corporate client. This includes monitoring system stability, handling user support requests, troubleshooting failures, deploying security updates, and ensuring stable performance of network and cloud services. The project scope encompasses both reactive support (incident resolution) and proactive system administration (updates, security, and configuration changes).

Work Schedule: On-call

First phase (2 weeks): You will work on a standard schedule from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM. After working hours (after 7:00 PM), you must be available to respond promptly to incidents escalated by the on-call monitoring team. This includes the ability to connect to project services for diagnosis and troubleshooting. Self-monitoring of the system after 7:00 PM is not required.

Your task is to be prepared to connect upon request.

Second phase (2 weeks): Standard schedule (2 weeks): You will work regular hours from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM, without participating in on-call duties.

Responsibilities:

• Incident Management: Handling internet and service outages, diagnosing root causes, and restoring service availability.
• Security Maintenance: Installing CrowdStrike, updating sealed secrets, and other security-related tasks.
• Cloud and Kubernetes Support: Managing cluster configurations, updating secrets, and coordinating deployments.
• Regular Administration: System cleanup after special reorganizations, configuration updates, and integration checks.
• Monitoring and Response: Timely and effective response to alerts and support requests.

Candidate Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in DevOps
• 5+ years of experience with Kubernetes (vCenter)
• 5+ years of experience with ArgoCD and GitOps (kustomize)
• 5+ years of experience with MySQL
• 5+ years of experience with Ansible (Kubespray)
• 5+ years of experience with VictoriaMetrics Stack (+Grafana)
• 5+ years of experience with CI/CD on GitHub actions
• 5+ years of experience with Zabbix
• English B2 or higher
