Senior Network Testing Engineer (Onsite Abu Dhabi)

ScienceSoft is looking for a Senior Network Testing Engineer.

• Location: Abu Dhabi (onsite)
• Full-time

Responsibilities:

• Design and execute network test plans and test cases based on use cases
• Perform functional and unit testing of networking features in early prototypes
• Conduct performance testing (throughput, latency, packet loss, stress testing)
• Validate L2/L3 networking functionality
• Analyze network behavior under different traffic conditions
• Use traffic generators, packet capture tools, and network emulators/simulators
• Prepare clear test reports and provide improvement recommendations
• Work closely with architects and developers in an iterative feedback loop

Must-have skills:

• 2–5 years of experience in network testing / network QA / networking engineering
• Strong knowledge of:
  • TCP/IP stack
  • Routing and switching
  • Linux networking
• Experience with Python (for test automation or scripting)
• Experience designing and executing structured test plans
• Hands-on experience with:
  • Traffic generators
  • Packet capture tools (Wireshark, tcpdump, etc.)
  • Network emulators/simulators
• Experience performing performance testing (throughput, latency, packet loss, stress tests)
• Ability to prepare structured technical reports

Nice to have:

• Experience working with network prototypes
• Background in telecom environments
• Experience in large-scale networking environments
• Engineering degree in Telecommunications or Computer Science
