Clinical Leadership Consultant

We are seeking an experienced Clinical Leadership Consultant to support a high-impact healthcare IT modernization project for a leading hospital group in Saudi Arabia. This role is pivotal in bridging clinical expertise with digital transformation initiatives aligned with Vision 2030 and Ministry of Health (MoH) standards.

 

 

Expected skills:

  • Clinical & Health IT Background
  • Medical degree (MD or equivalent) with clinical experience.
  • Experience in hospital digital transformation or EHR/EMR implementation.
  • Ability to translate clinical needs into technical requirements.
  • Regulatory Knowledge

 

Familiarity with Saudi Arabia’s healthcare regulations:

  • Ministry of Health (MoH) standards.
  • SFDA, SCFHS, and CHI compliance.
  • Data privacy and cybersecurity (NCA, NHIC).
  • Transformation of the health ecosystem through information and technology (HIMSS)

Digital Health Expertise:

  • Knowledge of digital health tools (EHR, telemedicine, AI in healthcare).
  • Understanding of Vision 2030 and national health transformation goals.

Cultural Competence:

  • Experience in the GCC region (preferably KSA).
  • Understanding of local healthcare practices and ethics.
  • Arabic language is a plus.

Preferred Certifications:

  • Knowledge of digital health tools (EHR, telemedicine, AI in healthcare).

Responsibilities:

  • Assess the current hospital IT solution and identify areas for modernization.
  • Provide clinical leadership to ensure alignment between healthcare workflows and digital tools.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate clinical requirements into technical specifications.
  • Ensure compliance with Saudi healthcare regulations (MoH, SFDA, SCFHS, CHI).
  • Support the implementation of EHR/EMR systems, telemedicine, and AI-driven healthcare solutions.
  • Facilitate stakeholder engagement and change management across clinical and IT teams.
