About Our Client

The Client is a large real estate company with over 100 offices across the country. The company provides full-scale real estate services, including development, investment consulting, brokerage, rentals, and sales.

Challenge

The Client operated five .NET websites, each serving a distinct real estate segment: Apartments, Countryside Real Estate, New Buildings, Rental, and Commercial Property. The performance of the legacy websites had degraded over years, prompting the Client to revamp its digital platforms. However, the task was complicated by the lack of technical documentation for the websites. Relying on ScienceSoft’s decades of expertise in web development, the Client entrusted our team with the legacy website revamp — despite the absence of technical specifications.

Solution

ScienceSoft team performed reverse engineering of the legacy websites and recreated technical specifications from scratch. Using the data available with the websites and data feeds from the federal real estate database, ScienceSoft developed new websites based on the PHP tech stack. Additionally, ScienceSoft created a promo site constructor – a content management system (CMS) component that automatically generates profile pages of the registered real estate agents.

Results

The Client received fully-functional, cost-effective websites within 6 months.
