IBM validated ScienceSoft’s Health Check Framework for IBM QRadar SIEM

IBM has officially validated Health Check Framework (HCF) for IBM QRadar SIEM (now QLEAN). HCF for IBM QRadar SIEM is ScienceSoft’s proprietary automated monitoring tool that allows security administrators to sustain QRadar’s operability continuously through built-in performance metrics and health markers. The validation proves that users can now be confident that IBM has analyzed and reviewed the solution’s source code to ensure there are no performance inhibitors or security vulnerabilities.
Providing over 60 metrics and 25 health markers, HCF for IBM QRadar SIEM reveals operational deviations of the platform, thus minimizes the risk of missing critical security events within the IT network. By eliminating the necessity to create custom scripts and reporting tools, HCF for IBM QRadar SIEM allows security specialists to enhance QRadar’s performance substantially as well as cut time, effort and budget required for the platform’s maintenance.
Following the successful validation, Health Check Framework Manager (HCF Manager) has been officially released on IBM® Security App Exchange on October 6, 2016. HCF Manager is a specialized application that helps security administrators to set up and manage HCF for IBM QRadar SIEM.
HCF Manager allows getting control over HCF for IBM QRadar SIEM via a separate QRadar tab, including updates setting as well as management, execution and scheduling of report mailing lists and report downloading. With the new app, security administrators are now able to flexibly manage their HCF deployment and tailor the framework to perform even more thorough and error-free monitoring of their all-in-one or distributed QRadar environments.
