Atlas Credit’s Loan Software Built by ScienceSoft Wins Global FinTech Award
Published:
We’re proud to announce that ScienceSoft’s loan management software (LMS) developed for Atlas Credit has been recognized as Best-in-Class Loan Management System at the Global FinTech Innovation Awards 2025. This prestigious award from IBS Intelligence marks a milestone in our long-standing partnership with Atlas Credit.
Complex Loan Servicing Workflows Required Tailored Software
Atlas Credit has been providing consumer lending services for over half a century. As the workflows and growth trajectory at Atlas Credit have evolved over time, the company recognized the need for a bespoke software solution. To create one, Atlas Credit partnered with ScienceSoft, a domestic vendor with decades of experience in lending software engineering.
What began as a targeted loan servicing tool evolved over six years into an end-to-end loan management ecosystem that includes comprehensive toolkits for employees and borrowers. Today, the LMS developed by ScienceSoft reliably processes millions of loan records and supports thousands of concurrent users, ensuring that Atlas Credit’s digital operations remain efficient, accurate, and ready for continued expansion. Built on Microsoft Azure, the platform features high availability and enterprise-grade security. ScienceSoft’s team designed the loan processing logic for compliance with the lending regulations of Texas, Oklahoma, and Virginia, enabling Atlas Credit to operate confidently across its service regions.
Growing a Full-Scale Intelligent Loan Management Ecosystem
The LMS delivered a robust foundation for Atlas Credit’s operations, offering a broad suite of core modules and capabilities, including loan application processing, borrower onboarding, credit checks and underwriting, loan servicing, debt collection, accounting, and reporting. Purpose-built for Atlas Credit’s unique consumer microlending operations, it automates every stage of the loan lifecycle, from initiation to closure. The platform features multi-dimensional lending analytics and no-code employee interfaces for cross-state, cross-branch workflow configuration and loan product setup.
ScienceSoft and Atlas Credit are preparing ambitious LMS expansions for 2026:
- A borrower portal enabling online self-service applications and renewals, real-time payments, balance tracking, and access to statements and loan documents.
- Voice AI agents to autonomously handle loan application verification, borrower identity confirmation, data validation, and other routine, phone-based interactions.
Released and Anticipated Benefits for Atlas Credit
Since the LMS went live, Atlas Credit reports measurable improvements across operations and finance. With every feature now fully under the company’s control, the lender can evolve the platform in tandem with its business, without being constrained by a rigid software platform.
Branch employees note that daily work has become much easier: less manual entry and fewer repetitive tasks have led to higher satisfaction on the front lines. In collections, more structured risk tracking has strengthened follow-up practices and improved delinquency rates. Real-time cross-checks minimized data and reconciliation errors, giving leadership greater confidence in financial and compliance insights.
Recalling what the new LMS has meant for their growth and efficiency, Atlas Credit describes the turning point:
“There was some hesitation at the start, but the moment we went live, it felt like our capabilities expanded overnight,” says Vanessa Howland, General Manager at Atlas Credit. “The new platform is now growing with every need, turning our operational vision into realities faster than we imagined.”
The next releases are to bring even greater impact. ScienceSoft anticipates that Atlas Credit’s upcoming customer portal will reduce in-person branch traffic by up to 25%, freeing staff to focus on higher-value activities. Agentic verification during loan applications is expected to ease customer rep workload and accelerate disbursements. AI collection agents are projected to streamline debtor interaction and raise debt recovery rates by 15–20%.
In light of the recognition by IBS Intelligence, the project team reflects on the effort that has shaped the success so far:
“This project has been a journey of nearly six years — a long, demanding, and extremely gratifying collaboration,” says Dimitry Tsalko, Delivery Manager at ScienceSoft. “There were moments when the complexity of the work pushed us to our limits. But ScienceSoft and Atlas Credit have continuously fueled each other, turning challenges into progress and progress into renewed ambition. This shared momentum is what carried us through the toughest stages and what now sets us up for even bigger achievements ahead.”
