IBM/Q1 Labs is in the top position in the Gartner SIEM Magic Quadrant

IBM/Q1 Labs, with whom ScienceSoft partners to provide its QRadar security intelligence solution, achieved a leadership position in the 2013 Gartner Magic Quadrant for Security Information and Event Management. The 2013 Magic Quadrant marked the 5th consecutive year that Gartner has positioned IBM/Q1 Labs in the Leaders Quadrant.
IBM/Q1 Labs was rated above McAfee/Nitro, RSA, LogRhythm, and Splunk on both “Ability to Execute” and “Completeness of Vision” as well as got to the top position on "Ability to Execute" of all 16 vendors in the 2013 Gartner Magic Quadrant for Security Information and Event Management report. According to Gartner, “Ability to Execute" is a function of five measures that customers most care about in vendor selection, which includes financial viability, market responsiveness, product development, sales channels and customer base.
In addition, IBM/Q1 Labs received an “Excellent” product viability rating in Critical Capabilities for Security Information and Event Management report. The report assesses SIEM technologies by their capabilities that are critical for the support of threat management, compliance, and general SIEM deployment use cases. IBM/Q1 Labs was rated highest of 13 SIEM technologies in several categories including Product Rating, SIEM Use Case and Overall Use Case.
