Ann Piskunova

With a degree in Information Technologies and Management of Technical Systems, Ann has 14+ years of experience in quality assurance and software testing. Ann joined ScienceSoft in 2012 and, following the success of several large-scale testing projects, was promoted to the position of Test Lead in 2016. Since then, Ann is engaged in planning, setting up, and overseeing the execution of QA and testing activities in ScienceSoft’s projects with a strong focus on testing CRM applications, making sure our clients’ software meets the set requirements and addresses their business needs in an optimal way.

Throughout her career, Ann has contributed to a number of strategically important testing projects. In the course of one of her recent projects, Ann set up and supervised testing of a CRM application for a large retail company. CRM was integrated with many sub-systems, and the multiple integrations required thorough verification.

Ann constantly improves her competencies, enriching ScienceSoft’s TCoE (Testing Center of Excellence) with new testing techniques, and shares her expertise on ScienceSoft’s software testing blog. In one of her publications, for instance, she explores the specifics of CRM testing and explains why high-quality CRM is important for improving customer relations.

The success of CRM testing lies in the ability to balance the expertise in CRM specifics, best testing practices, and test automation tools, keeping proven testing quality standards in mind.
