We partnered ScienceSoft for building a SharePoint document management system to streamline document storing, search, approval, and archiving.

ScienceSoft’s team created a DMS that consisted of a core and an auxiliary site. The core site contained a document library with separate folders for each department. To facilitate document search and search filtering, the team implemented document tagging. Also, the team created an approval workflow for policies and procedures.

We needed an auxiliary site for document archiving to protect documents from accidental deletion. ScienceSoft’s team created the auxiliary DMS site and built a custom workflow for automated document copying to the auxiliary site when a document is created or renamed on the core site.

One of our core requirements was DMS user-friendliness. To meet this requirement, ScienceSoft’s team implemented custom look and feel features, including a footer, a theme, styles, and navigation.

The DMS developed by ScienceSoft helped us ensure document integrity and security and accelerate document-related business processes. We are satisfied with the project results and we would recommend ScienceSoft as SharePoint DMS developers.
