November 13, 2009 is emblematic for ScienceSoft by no means because this day happened to be Friday, but because it marked the tenth anniversary of Nikolay Kurayev as CEO of the company.
Mr. Kurayev has been with the company since 1997. He took up his post as Chief Executive Officer after holding the position of Design Department Manager for 2 years.
During the ten years of his executive tenure ScienceSoft has known a dynamic growth and a well-balanced development. The company enjoyed a high reputation among its customers and earned and sustained its leadership positions in the IT outsourcing business.
Nikolay was also at the origin of the IT services arm of the company’s business. The first outsourcing team of 5 people was set up for a Swedish client in 2002. In 2004 IT services became the core of ScienceSoft´s business. Over the last years Nikolay oversaw the growth of the IT services business to over 200 IT professionals.

Together we were able to work out balanced solutions leading to company’s sustainable development," Nikolay says. IT is a vibrant business field, which implies a high pace of change, and where success is assured only to organizations able to opportunely implement those changes. ScienceSoft with Mr. Kurayev in charge was good at timely responding to market challenges and customers´ ever-growing needs. Recent strategic steps included establishing several partnerships agreements in European countries, creating dedicated MS SharePoint and automated application migration practices, launching a new brand for mobile application development.
