Customer: Customer provides policy-based user monitoring solutions to track, report on and investigate noncompliant behavior, such as unauthorized activity by administrators and other privileged users.
Challenge: Customer, an authority in security audit and compliance, wanted to augment the development of components of The Security Suite, which automates the process of enterprise-wide log collection, privileged user monitoring, behavioral forensics and compliance reporting. To do it, Customer needed a highly qualified dedicated offshore team being built within short period of time.
Solution: To meet Customer's requirements ScienceSoft:- Within two months built an off-site team of 19 highly experienced software and QA engineers with extended set of skills and experience to develop and test the Security Suite which works in heterogeneous environment (Windows, AIX, HP-UX, Solaris, zOS).
- Ensured a close team work between Customer's architects and specialists on the off-site team. Every month ScienceSoft sends representatives of the team for on-site visits to Customer to keep up-to-date with custom processes.
- Ensured that the off-site team can excellently and in a short period of time accommodate its work to Customer's custom development, reporting tools, and version control. Moreover, ScienceSoft proposed and introduced a variety of improvements in the process to streamline communication and project development.
- Ensured that the off-site team can reach aggressive timelines for the product's launch.
